Highly Permeable & Porous

Porous Pave surfacing materials allows larger volumes of water to pass through – approximately 5,800 gallons per hour, per square foot – which diminishes water runoff, by allowing water to soak through into the ground.

 

Flexible & Durable

Porous Pave resists crumbling and cracking, reducing trip and fall accidents. Resistant to oil, chlorine, ozone, UV rays, muriatic acid, salt water and other hostile materials.

Wear Resistant

The strongest more durable blend with rubber chips, stone aggregate and hard binder for a touch, wear resistant surface.

Slip Resistant

Porous Pave is ADA compliant, which lessens the chance of slip and fall accidents.


Made From Recycled Tires

Porous Pave innovative product is made from Ontario recycled tires. Under tightly monitored shredding process, successfully removes 99% of the steel fragments and produces a 1/4″ to 3/8″ nominal size rubber chip. Every 1,000 square foot of Porous Pave saves approximately 300 tires from a landfill.


Non-Intrusive Installations

Porous Pave is mixed on site and applied as a single monolithic pour with minimal equipment. Porous Pave can be applied in temperatures between 40℉ – 90℉ and in most installations, product is cured in 24 hours.

Project Savings

Porous Pave can be applied over concrete, asphalt and wood. Cost effective way to cover cracked surfaces without the expense and mess of a tear-out.

9′ Critical Fall Rating

Porous Pave XLS in combination with Safety Shock Pads, is an ideal surfacing solution around playground equipment. It can be applied in high fall risk areas prevent injuries, both indoors and outdoors.

  • Adding the Porous Pave Safety Shock Pad under 2″ of Porous Pave XLS increases the critical fall rating from 4′ to 7′, adding a 3″ shock pad increases this from 4′ to 9′.
  • The Pro Play Shock Pad only needs to be added in fall zones requiring more than a 4′ critical fall rating.
  • Porous Pave Safety Shock Pad Dimensions—4′ x 6′ or 24 sq. ft.
